Crochet Collector Costume Vol. 55 - Princess Diana 1988 Royal Visiting Dress
Remember Princess Diana with this exquisite reproduction of one of her favorite dresses. First worn at a State Banquet at the Elysee Palace in 1988, the dress was again worn publicly at The Wintergarden in New York.

Victor Edelstein of London, who designed many of Diana's most memorable gowns including her famous blue velvet 'John Travolta Dress,' created this majestic design. Made of oyster satin, the strapless bodice and bolero jacket were embroidered with clusters of crystal, gold and pearl beads. Included in Christie's Auction in 1997, the dress sold for $90,500.00.

This replica is faithfully reproduced in shimmering rayon. The bodice and bolero jacket are bead encrusted for a rich regal effect.

Pattern includes dress, jacket, shoes, purse and tiara for 11-1/2" fashion dolls.
