After you click "Register", you will receive an email from which will contain a special code. Simply reply to that email and you will be subscribed to the list. (You don't have to type anything, just do a reply and the confirmation code will stay in the subject of your email.)

If you do not get the email within the next 15 minutes (double check your "get mail"), then either you mis-typed your email address or our computer was temporarily down, and you should resubmit your request.

What is the Velona Needlecraft Email List?
It is a list of people who want to receive our announcements, which are usually sent every month or so. The announcements are usually to let people know about our Internet specials, and to introduce noteworthy new products. (The email mailing list is not a discussion, chat, message board, or talk list.)

How do I get on the email list?
There are only two ways to get on our email mailing list: 1--You can fill out the form above, or 2--You can ask a member of our staff in person.

If you fill out the form, our email server will automatically send a confirmation message to the email you entered. The message will contain a special code which you will need to send back to us to complete your registration. This system prevents people from subscribing other people's email addresses either by accident or on purpose. (On purpose? Believe it or not, people have tried to make us look bad by subscribe other people's email addresses, thus making us look like we send unsolicited emails!)

Does it cost anything to subscribe to the email list?
No, we do not charge customers to be on our email mailing list. (But you are still responsible for whatever means you use to connect to the Internet to retrieve your email.)

Removal requests: How do I get off the email mailing list?
Simply send an email to and asked to be removed from our email mailing list. Be sure to send your request from the email address you want to be removed, or tell us in the body of your message which one to remove.

You may rejoin our email mailing list at any time by completing our on-line registration form.

How do I change my email address on your list?
Simply send an email to and provide us with your old and new email addresses. We'll then send you a confirmation code via email. After you email the code back to us, we can complete the change. (This is in compliance with our ISP's email-handshaking policy on new email addresses, to be 100% sure all addresses on the list are authorized by their users.)

Do you use SPAM lists?
Absolutely not! We want nothing to do with SPAM or unsolicited email lists.

Will you keep my email address confidential?
Absolutely! We will never sell, rent or give away your email address. It will always stay with us.

My email to you is not going through!
Our ISP uses several techniques to filter junk emails ("spam"). If you attempted to send us an email but the email was rejected by our ISP, then it's probably because your ISP has misconfigured your domain's DNS entry (the stuff after the @ in your email address) or your ISP unfortunately wound up on a temporary "realtime blackhole list" (RBL) because one of their email servers was responsible for sending or relaying junk emails. ISPs stay on RBLs until they "fix" the problem that allowed them to relay junk emails. Contact your ISP and give them the information from the rejected email.

Can I broadcast my own email message to others on this list?
No. The list is only for us to send announcements to our customers. It is not a chat, group or public list. Although all messages sent to the list will be read by our webmaster, messages will not be broadcasted to others. (This will prevent junk emailers from using our system to broadcast their junk ads to our customers.) If you want to join a chat or group list, we recommend you use a search engine (like www.Google.com) to find one ... and make sure you use a secondary email address (not your regular one).
