Welcome to our web site!

Velona Needlecraft is a full service store in all areas of needlework. We carry supplies for knitting, crochet, lace, tatting, needlepoint, cross-stitch, embroidery, stitchery, tramé, fabrics and linens, weaving (limited), latch-hook, and more. We stock an incredible selection of fine and high-fashion yarns, including most major imports, and over 80 different types of threads. Our book inventory is huge, and we have many hard-to-find back issues of yarn company project catalogs.

We are located in Anaheim Hills, California, about 45 minutes from Los Angeles, and is open 7 days a week. (See store hours.)

Mail ordering is easy as we accept most major credit cards including VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Optima, Discover, and Japan's JCB. Of course, cash and checks are also accepted! (See how to order.)

We offer classes and workshops four days of the week.

We do not have a "catalog" of all our products. If we had one, it would be the size of a Los Angeles County yellow pages phone book! Our shop is packed full of great merchandise, not to mention our warehouse stock! It is almost impossible to catalog everything we carry because we have so many (too many?) different products and accessories and because the market changes often. Our supplier catalogs and color charts of what we carry easily fill two dozen 3-inch binders! From time to time, though, we publish mini-catalogs such as fashion knitting knits, newsletters, new and favorite book mini-catalogs, and special engagements and offerings.

Our growing web site is only a small sampling of our huge inventory. Call, write, fax or email us about any product for which you are looking; or if there is something you would like to see on our web site, please let us know. We always invite suggestions, comments and questions!

So who is Velona, you might ask? Well, there is no Velona at Velona Needlecraft. "Velona" is the Greek word for needle. Over the last 23 years, however, thousands of customers and suppliers have confused Rose for Velona, thus Rose has assumed the nickname "Velona."
